Expo Information

The 30^th HKIECE will encompass various overseas and local colleges as well as educational institutions and consultants, providing a comprehensive platform to exhibit the latest information on local and overseas education and further studies programmes for the students and parents to choose the right choice in their study path. In addition, the "Careers Square" provides an opportunity for job seekers and workers to connect with employers directly, while also gaining insights into industry developments. The Expo will stage a series of educational activities, including school briefings and seminars on study and career guidance, offering visitors useful tips on study plans and career development.

Three Thematic Zones

Overseas and Mainland China Education Zone

• Bringing together a vast array of over 1,000 education institutions from Overseas and Mainland China, this zone serves as a comprehensive resource for various aspects of overseas study and immigration. It encompasses a wide range of educational opportunities, including Diplomas, High Diplomas, Associate Degrees, Bachelor's Degrees, Master's Degrees, Vocational Training, Professional Certifications, and short-term continuing education courses.

Local Education Zone

• Featuring renowned local universities and tertiary institutions, this zone presents various local education and further studies programs in Hong Kong. It provides options for students preparing for further studies and individuals seeking continuous education.

Careers Square

• Offering approximately 2,000 job vacancies and on-site interview opportunities, this zone presents a wide range of employment options from various government departments, public and private organizations. This includes the 5 Disciplined Services, Transport & Logistics Bureau, Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification, Aviation Security, Ocean Park, banks, insurance companies, and property developers, among others. Visitors have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into different career paths and stay updated on the latest industry trends, helping them make informed decisions for their future career path.

• In addition, professionals will be available at the Job Market x JupCV at Booth D18 to provide free CV evaluation services. Job seekers can have their CVs assessed, focusing on factors such as information accuracy, design, and sequencing clarity. Evaluation will be conducted on a first-come-first-served basis, assisting individuals in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of their resumes.

Featured seminar covering study and career topics

The Expo will be organizing over 40 seminars covering study and career topics, there will be professionals giving students tips on study planning and career development, featured seminars include: "The Academic Development of Hong Kong Students" , "Strategic Planning for JUPAS Choices" , "Parents and Teachers as Crucial Support in the Career Journey of Adolescents" , "My Flying Dream" , Hong Kong Students' Strategies for Studying in Mainland China, and Guide to studying in UK, Australia, United States, Canada and New Zealand .

Highlighted Exhibitors

• Crimson Education offers a special opportunity for visitors to book a FREE 15-minute feedback session on their chances of admission to Ivy League/Oxbridge universities with Crimson Academic Advisors onsite. Eligible families who register for a 1-hour meeting will receive a complimentary copy of the book "ACCEPTED! Secrets to Gaining Admission to the World's Top Universities". (Booth: D09)

• Sign up at Maple Overseas Education Centre for a study package worth $300 and get a chance to take the Wallstreet IELTS mock test. (Booth: A09 and A16)

• The Study Guidance Association, Hok Yau Club, will be available to answer students' questions about studying and distribute free copies of the "Prospect Guide 2024". (Booth: E28)

• Hong Kong Metropolitan University's Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy programme offers an admission scholarship. Graduates of the programme will be qualified for practice as registered physiotherapists in Hong Kong. Graduates may also pursue further studies at local or overseas universities. (Booth: E06)

• Kaikorai Valley College, a high-quality secondary school in New Zealand, is located in Dunedin on the South Island. It is a traditional co-educational state school and also adopts a small-class teaching approach. The cost of studying abroad at this school is relatively affordable. (Booth: A13-14)

• Incubated under HKSTP, Uni-D is a EdTech coaching platform featuring the Passion Finder, Extracurricular Finder and an Interactive University Map that assess students' extracurricular profiles, writing skills, and interview readiness, providing personalized feedback. • Aviation Security Company Ltd. is accepting job applications for Aviation Security Officers and Surveillance Assistants. Visitors can take photos with search dogs and receive various gifts at their booth. (Booth: D09)

• Visitors can enjoy an exclusive 10% discount for the enrolment of selected driving courses of the Hong Kong School of Motoring Ltd. (Booth: E10)

• Hornington School has partnered with several schools in Japan and offers Japanese language courses in Hong Kong. They provide an N2 intensive course in 10 months and an N1 intensive course in 14 months. (Booth: A03)
